LOCATION

630 Rundle Ave.

This 3-hour Flamenco intensive is a focused, rhythmic deep dive designed especially for Salsa dancers who want to strengthen their musicality, grounding, and intentional movement.

You’ll work in clear 8-counts, explore palmas (hand clapping) and compás (rhythmic structure), and finish by learning a short Flamenco choreography combo (patadita por tangos) that brings everything together.

This is powerful cross-training that will challenge your body, sharpen your timing, and deepen your connection to the music.

Why this workshop is worth your time:

This intensive is designed to help dancers move with more clarity, confidence, and musical commitment—not just learn new steps.

  • Train your rhythm from the inside out
Learn to feel timing through palmas and compás instead of relying on counts alone.

  • Build stronger, more grounded footwork
Flamenco’s percussive steps translate directly to cleaner Salsa basics and shines.

  • Improve posture, balance, and body control
Conscious body technique strengthens stability and presence in your dancing.

  • Develop musical confidence
Practice committing to movement phrases with intention, power, and expression.

This workshop is ideal if you love musicality, enjoy understanding why movement works, and want your dancing to feel more embodied and intentional.
