This beginner friendly intensive goes back to one of the most important skills in Salsa: connection. We'll explore how frame, body positioning, tension, responsiveness, and movement work together to create partnerwork that feels clear without feeling forced.
This is not a "How to Lead Better" workshop. BOTH partners are responsible for the connection. We'll explore what Leads and Follows contribute so the dance becomes a conversation rather than on person moving the other around.
Are just beginning their Salsa journey
Are experienced but ready to refine their foundation
Creating a comfortable, responsive frame
Understanding when connection needs to change throughout the partnership
Leading with clarity instead of force
Following with responsiveness and not anticipation (back-leading)
Maintaining your own balance within the connection
Adjusting to different bodies, partners and levels of experience
Newer dancers will build a stronger foundation, while experienced dancers get the chance to refine the small details that can completely change how the dance feels.
Less pulling. Less guessing. More Connection.
*Beginner Friendly. No partner required*
Come ready to challenge yourself, sharpen your skills, and add new possibilities to your social dancing.
