LOCATION

630 Rundle Ave.

Join us for this skill-level progressive workshop where you'll leave with a new Salsa swag.

We'll build your new skillset from the ground up - literally - by focusing on pressing into the floor to achieve this style's signature knee bounce, the muelleo.

You'll learn timing, styling and context of how, where and when to use this as a social dancer.

Cuban heels preferred for both Follows & Leads, however dance sneakers, jazz flats or similar options are still a good fit.

Why this workshop is worth your time:
  • Master the Muelleo: Learn the Pachanga bounce that shows up across Afro-Cuban styles and makes advanced Salsa movement feel smoother and more natural.

  • Timing: Pachanga brings the full 8-count back into your body so you can play with timing and still drop effortlessly into your On2 basics.

  • Styling: Pachanga goes beyond the knees, helping you discover personal style through arms, hips, and movement that actually feels like you.

  • Social Dancing: You’ll learn exactly how and when to plug Pachanga into partner dancing and Salsa shines without it feeling random or forced.

Perfect for dancers ready to add texture, rhythm, and personality to their Salsa without overthinking it.

What to Expect:

  • No partner required

  • No Pachanga experience necessary

  • Open to all Salsa levels and styles (On1, On2 or Casino)
